Healthy man’s regimen (Swasthavrittam)

Ayurveda put in the picture different things with the help of which one can live long healthy life e.g. daily routine / dincharya, ritucharya, rasayana, vajikarana, well planned diet according to prakruti, the tripod of life, pollution control, control of communicable diseases etc.

Patient’s regimen (Aturvrittam)

It includes, diseases – their description, causes, clinical features, patho-physiology , prognosis etc. and treatment – medicines, cleansing methods (panchkarma), yoga, massage (physiotherapy), diet i.e. proper use of proper food, avoidance of harmful food etc.
