Physical characteristics of vata dosha people

  • Body stature – People with predominant vata dosha generally have thin, slender body type. They may be too tall or too short with flat chest and visible veins and muscle tendons. Joints are prominent in these people.
  • Skin – Vata dosha tends to impart dry, rough, cold skin to the carrier. This is all because of vata dosha qualities.
  • Hair – Dry, thin
  • Eyes – Generally vata prakriti people have small sized, lusterless and dry eyes with thin eyelashes. Most dominant colors in eyes are grey or dark brown.
  • Nails – Vata prakriti people have characteristic brittle and rough nails.
  • Nose -Nose is with bent, generally pointing upward direction.
  • Teeth – Vata constitution person usually have large, crooked teeth
